Hello, I am a bioinformatician and statistical genetics scientist at 5 Prime Sciences, where we use insights from human genetics to accelerate drug development. My research interests are at the intersection of human genetics, causal inference, and bioinformatics. I am a passionate advocate for health care equity and accessibility.
At 5 Prime, I’m currently part of the Frontline Science team, where we leverage GWAS, ExWAS, PRS, and Mendelian Randomization for research programs. Previously, I was engaged in the Centromere platform team to make analysis pipelines robust and reproducible. I also manage the 5 Prime Sciences Portal, a data visualization tool that communicates analysis results to clients.
Outside of science, I love making all forms of art – from music, painting, sketching, to block printing and crocheting. Find some of my art prints here. I donate all proceeds to grassroots organizations for various relief funds in India, where I grew up.
I’m currently exploring opportunities to pursue a PhD in statistical genetics or genetic epidemiology, aiming to deepen my expertise and contribute to impactful and exciting research.
